The Killing Tattoo Mistakes

tattoo-mistakeHave you ever wondered why the tattoo removal business is doing so well? The answer is quite obvious. Many tattoo lovers, on the impulse of the moment or by following silly trends make wrong decision on their tattoo design. Of course you can take a little advice from your tattoo artist or some good suggestions from your friends to avoid mistakes. However, here are some tattoo blunders best avoided.

1. As you sow, so you reap: So, if you try to get something done very cheap then the result also will be just that, Cheap! That is why tattoo artists are fond of saying, “Good tattoos aren’t cheap and cheap tattoos aren’t good”. The cost should not be the main criteria.

2. Don’t go overboard on the romantic attitude and ink your lover’s name: It is very dicey. You never know when this relationship will end and I am sure your new partner isn’t going to like the old partner’s name on your body.

3. Do not follow a “Trend” tattoo
: Most often the trend is over in a few days and you are left with generic junk.

4. Pay attention to size: A small tattoo on a large area looks like a blot on the horizon and a large tattoo on a small area looks too crowded.

5. If you are choosing words
: Make sure that you will like it for ever or the saying is eternal and holds a symbolic value.

6. Do not make impulsive decisions: What looks good on others need not necessarily look good on you. So, check out the design before you ink it.

7. Consider the age factor: You will not be twenty or twenty five always. So, choose a design you will love when you are fifty and seventy five too.
