Different Types of Wrist Tattoos
Among many popular tattoos, the wrist tattoo is one which has increasingly become very sought after. So much so, great celebrities are flaunting wrist tattoos.
Star tattoos, words, wrist band designs, are some of the most sought after tattoos. The wrist is a nice place to display your values and enhance your personality.
Some people are a little reticent about showing their tattoo too much. They 
prefer to wear the tattoo on the inner side of the wrist. The more daring people wear it on the outer side. There are also many who choose to wear a tattoo like a bracelet. This is like an arm band only much lower. Pink has “What Goes around Comes Around” and “TRU LUV” circling her right wrist and Peaches Geldof has a crucifix tattoo around her left wrist to proclaim her faith.
Wrist band tattoos are usually the Celtic or the Aztec tribal designs, or barbed wire design. English words, Kanji and Sanskrit words or phrases are also very common wrist tattoo designs. Nautical star tattoo, shooting star, flowers, hearts, kissing lips, sun etc are used as wrist tattoos.
The wrist is not a fleshy area but still it is not very painful to pierce a tattoo on the wrist. Healing of the tattoo takes more time since it is an exposed area. The after application care for a wrist tattoo is very important especially since the healing takes a longer time.
Like all tattoos the placement area is a personal decision. Take care to see that you will not regret the decision years later. Wrist tattoo are easily covered during official hours by wearing a long sleeved dress, and it can be uncovered whenever you want.
